I will say it once and I will say it again. Pasta salad is one of the most versatile dishes that you can make. Especially in the summer, pasta salad is a staple at every BBQ and get-together.
Luckily, there is always a new spin on pasta salad recipes that make them never get old. Personally, it is one of my favorite summer dishes, which is why I rounded up 5 of my favorite pasta salad recipes.

1) Bruschetta Pasta Salad
Bruschetta is a classic antipasto Italian recipe that has many different variations. The most popular includes bread topped with tomatoes, basil, olive oil, and balsamic vinegar.
This is one of my favorite recipes that my dad would make us. Although he was not Italian himself, he embraced some of my mom’s heritage and perfected making bruschetta and gnocchi for us.
Because of that, this pasta salad recipe is my favorite. Trade out the bread carb for a pasta carb and you have a twist on a classic Italian recipe.

2) BLT Ranch Pasta Salad
Nothing sounds more American to me than a good ol’ BLT sandwich. Bacon, Lettuce, and Tomato sandwiches first became popular after World War II when the ingredients were available all year around because of the invention of supermarkets. Like most restaurant language, this sandwich quickly got shortened and is now known as the BLT.
This pasta salad is one of my favorites because it is unique. Not many people bring this dish to the summer BBQ, but when you do, it will be a hit!

3) Greek Pasta Salad
Mediterranean food is one of my favorite genres of food. Lucky for me, it’s one of the healthiest!
This pasta salad recipe puts a spin on the classic Italian Pasta Salad recipe. This recipe is salty and cheesy and all the fixings to please a large crowd.
The oregano mixed with the Dijon Mustard in the dressing is just enough pizzazz to set this apart from the other recipes.

4) Buffalo Chicken Pasta Salad
Buffalo Chicken – another American classic. We really get creative in all the ways that we are able to make buffalo chicken a part of each dish.
From appetizers to lunches to dinners, leave it to us to find a way to include buffalo chicken in our dishes. Peep my Buffalo Chicken Pinwheels Recipe here. (see…we can’t help ourselves).
This pasta salad recipe is just unique enough that your family won’t get tired of having it throughout the summer. Again and again.
I could not make this list without including the classic and true, Italian Pasta Salad. When we think of pasta salad, this is the kind that we think of: noodles loaded with veggies and Italian Dressing.
Go to any BBQ during the summer and you can be sure to find this style of pasta salad there.
Let me know if you try my take on this classic recipe!
